					<description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;We may not be able to prevent Tom Price from being nominated. However, there is another reason to charge ahead in supporting the ACA and this one is strategic. It is my understanding that Republicans – at high levels – are very nervous about Trump’s promises regarding the repeal and replace venture of the ACA. Many Republicans know full well that Trump’s promises cannot be kept. Given that this issue is highly emotional, we cannot let Republicans off the hook. Promises of Trump to remind voters of: no health insurance drop offs owing to pre-existing conditions, ability to maintain children on family health insurance plans until they reach 26 years of age, premiums will  be “lower”, overall health care will be “better”. This list is not exhaustive, but these are the main promises that stand out – and that is what counts in messaging…&lt;/p&gt;]]></description>
